An opportunity to learn how to apply a recovery-oriented approach to delivering services to people who are experiencing housing instability or homelessness, and mental ill health.
Delivered by Wellways, this training is suitable for anyone working in the housing and homelessness sector, psychosocial or recovery-oriented support programs and tenancy management.
Participants are supported to practice using evidence-based and best-practice frameworks that create sustainable tenancies.
Key learning outcomes:
- Identify risk factors for housing instability
- Practice applying Wellways housing principles
- Practice developing a housing action plan using a Housing First approach
Training consists of two online sessions of two hours duration, but it can be discussed whether an in person session may be suitable. Sessions are instructor led by experienced housing specialists.
